Pacific Beach Real Estate and Homes

Pacific Beach (92109) began during the land boom in 1887. The real estate bust in the 1890's slowed growth to the extent that lots were being sold for $25 in the 1900's. Residents often lived in tents. Kate Sessions opened her nursery in PB in 1914 and transformed many of the neighborhoods with her plantings.

Pacific Beach remains the quintessential beach town and height restrictions and population density laws have been passed to ensure it retains that small town feel.
